Empaa-M XR Tablet (Empagliflozin + Metformin) is a combination medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by helping the body get rid of glucose through urine and improving the body’s response to insulin. The XR formulation is for extended release.

Side Effects

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, or urinary tract infections.

Caution

Take with a meal to reduce stomach upset. Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
