Uses

Aerokast Tablet (Montelukast) is used to prevent and manage asthma symptoms, including wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. It is also used to prevent exercise-induced breathing problems. It is not for the relief of an acute asthma attack.

Side Effects

Side effects are generally mild and may include headache, stomach pain, and dizziness.

Caution

This medicine should not be used as a rescue inhaler for an asthma attack. Always have your rescue medication available.
