Glucophage Tablet (Metformin) is a biguanide medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. The 250mg strength is a lower dose for initial treatment or for patients who are sensitive to the medication.

Caution

Not for use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Regular kidney function tests are recommended.
